It depends on the severity of what's going on with someone. I have treated people that have come in for one session of Class IV therapeutic laser. They've gotten the boost that they needed in their healing and they never had to come back. What's really important is that we discover what the underlying reason that you're actually experiencing pain or tightness and address it. If the underlying reason is not addressed then it will come back again. That's part of my job as a holistic physical therapist is to look at the body as a whole and identify what areas, what pieces of the puzzle might be contributing to causing the condition.
